Gerrit Rietveld Academy END EXAM 2008 · 2.07.08

We went to the Gerrit Rietveld Academy to have a look at the END EXAM 2008 and specifically to check out the work of Daphne Rosenthal. She made a fantastic video called ‘Him and her’ based on the film ‘The Man who knew too much’ from Alfred Hitchcock.
She has been nominated for the GRA Awards 2008! Congratulations!

Magnetic motors! · 27.05.08

These magnetic motors keep haunting me ;]
Where can I order one of these devices to power my house?

At Mythbusters they claim that this overunity stuff is crap. I’m not so sure:

Ready to enter the market?

There’s no reason being sceptical about this any longer, because YouTube is filled videos from people working on similar devices. No way all of this is a hoax, is it?

Search YouTube for ‘Bedini’.

New Tech Could Bring Fuel Cell Powered Electronics
More fuel cell news, and more

And when will this “Energy Cell” appear to market?

18.05.2003 Take water and potash, add electricity and get – a mystery
“British researchers believe that they have made a groundbreaking scientific discovery after apparently managing to “create” energy from hydrogen atoms.

In results independently verified at Bristol University, a team from Gardner Watts – an environmental technology company based in Dedham, Essex – show a “thermal energy cell” which appears to produce hundreds of times more energy than that put into it. If the findings are correct and can be reproduced on a commercial scale, the thermal energy cell could become a feature of every home, heating water for a fraction of the cost and cutting fuel bills by at least 90 per cent.”
telegraph.co.uk…

This thermal cell might be bullocks, but I found this document, dated 2006:
“The Thermal Energy Cell is an energy cell that converts electrical power into heat at an efficiency of over 2.5 times of that of a conventional immersion heater.”
“Geographically, market entry will start in the UK then expand to Europe.”
“The Thermal Energy Cell can be incorporated in many applications including, green houses, industrial processes and domestic appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers where implementation would offer significant improvements in energy consumption.”
So it seems like they’re still working on it! Why not FedEx me one of those devices right away?!
